Accepted abstracts and full articles will be published in the official Abstract Book and Full Article Book following the congress dates.
All abstracts and full papers submitted to the 5th International Students Social Sciences Congress (ISSSC 2026) are subject to a Blind Peer Review process. Each submission is evaluated by expert reviewer(s) in the relevant field based on its originality, scientific contribution, methodological quality, relevance to the congress scope, and compliance with academic and ethical standards.
Based on the reviewers' reports, the Scientific Committee decides whether the submission is accepted, accepted after revision, or rejected. Only papers that successfully complete the peer review process are included in the congress programme and published in the congress proceedings.
İzmir International Guest Student Association is an international student association established in 2011 to provide support for guest students who choose to pursue university education in our city of İzmir, coming from various geographical regions.

Since our congress primarily targets international students, in jointly authored papers the first author must be a graduate student (master's or doctoral level). Although the primary target group is international students, graduate students who are citizens of the Republic of Türkiye are also eligible to serve as the first author.
The second author must be at least an undergraduate student and may be a graduate student, researcher, or faculty member of any nationality.
In both abstract and full paper submissions, the information of all authors must be provided completely and listed in the correct order of contribution.

The congress fee covers access to all sessions, congress materials, abstract book publication, and coffee breaks during the event.

You can get to the University by taking the İZBAN (İzmir Commuter Trains) just outside the Airport to Egekent. From Egekent station you then take the bus #596 which goes straight to the University gate. From Egekent station, you may alternatively take a taxi to the campus.
You can get to the University by taking the bus #800 to Çiğli Municipality bus station. From there you can either take the bus #595* or #596 to the University. From Çiğli Municipality, you may alternatively take a taxi to the campus.
From Konak bus station you should take the bus #802 to Egekent(Transit). Then from Egekent station, take the bus #596 straight to the University gate. From Egekent station, you may alternatively take a taxi to the campus.
You can get to the University from the port by taking the bus #595*.
* Please note that the bus #595 does not stop in front of the campus as last stop, it passes by the campus. So you need to alert the driver to stop at the University bus stop.
